Actemium Marine Scope of Work
Actemium Marine carried out the engineering, integration and commissioning of the complete electrical power plant for the Hydromer dredger, a trailing suction dredger built for the Occitanie Region by PIRIOU Shipyards. The project also included the integration of a dedicated containerized hydrogen power solution featuring a 200 kWe fuel cell and its associated auxiliaries, designed and manufactured by HELION Hydrogen Power, contributing to the vessel’s electrical supply.

Project highlights:
Integration of a 200 kW Hydrogen Fuel Cell System
As part of the vessel’s hybrid energy architecture, Actemium Marine supplied and integrated the complete electrical conversion and distribution system required for the hydrogen fuel cell package.
The scope included:
- Supply of electrical conversion and power distribution cabinets for the fuel cell system
- DC/DC converters for each fuel cell
- DC/AC conversion for power injection into the vessel’s electrical network
- Auxiliary power distribution and safety chains integration
- Supply of battery systems
- Supply of an isolation transformer
- Supply and outfitting of a dedicated 20-foot container housing the electrical cabinets and associated equipment
- Contribution to the overall HAZID (Hazard Identification) risk assessment process
